I\’m 21 years old and a First Class graduate of Cell Biology and Genetics from the University of Lagos. I\’m currently working as a National Youth Corp member in Abuja.

Alongside being a youth corp member, I own a business named Charamie designs where I make beautiful and well detailed bags, purses, gift boxes and other creative items with Ankara and some other contemporary fabrics.

Charamie designs is a business set up to deliver detailed products, excellent customer service, empower young people and spread happiness. you

We also help people look their best with our beautifully crafted handmade products ranging from bags, purses, gift boxes and other creative items made with Ankara, jeans, sued and other contemporary materials.

At Charamie , rendering excellent customer service and making our customers happy is one of our utmost priority and this is portrayed in the way we relate with them.

.. Why did you become an entrepreneur? …
I became an entrepreneur because of my love for creativity, passion to empower and create job opportunities for people.

What are your major success stories and challenges so far? …
My major success stories so far is my ability to empower and positively impact people through my handwork, my participation in the first ever Icreate Skill Fest event in Africa and first edition of Live Your Dreams Africa (LYDA) event in Abuja which had a positive impact on a lot of lives.

Another major success story is finishing with a First Class from the University of Lagos and helping to mentor people academically after going through a lot of challenges as a student.

Major challenges I\’ve faced especially in business is in getting capable hands and cost of getting raw materials. Some other challenges I have faced is in trying to pull through amidst discouraging and disappointing occurrences.
