Swan Ushering Agency as the name implies is an ushering outfit currently functioning in Ibadan and Lagos. Made up of both male and female host/ hostesses, our brand has experience in hosting concerts, weddings, anniversaries, brand activation etc. The brand is less than a year, made up of vibrant, hardworking, beautiful/handsome team members. Reliability is synonymous with our brand and we are always ready and happy to see to the success of our client\’s event (corporate, wedding, social events) at an affordable service charge. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Why did you become an entrepreneur? *⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Swan Ushering Agency was first born out of annoyance. Annoyance at going to events and the first set of people you meet are untidy looking, poorly dressed hostess who are sometimes not eloquent enough to engage in conversation. It already forms a negative impression of the event. A good number of \’high profile\’ events I have attended were beset with this problem. So I started swan with the aim of correcting such anomaly. Then during the course of running the brand, I realized I was also in my little way helping young people (the ushers) earn legitimate money which for me is very rewarding.

A major challenge will be securing jobs. Most of the event outfits already have their own ushering outfit or a retainer. Being a start up, it has been difficult liaising with event planners to become one of the vendors for an event. It\’s even more saddening because there are so many young people constantly sending me messages, showing interest in joining and working under my brand. I really wish I could take them all in but there are limited jobs even for my official ushers. Hopefully swan would break even before its 1year anniversary this year.
